Designed for insertion loss and link loss measurements using an external light source. Large, backlit LCD makes it easy to view power levels and calibration wavelengths. Operation is simple due to the user-friendly keypad and intuitive controls. Remote operation permits the automation of tedious or repetitive measurements. Rubber boot protects against dropping. Rugged and splashproof. 850nm, 980nm, 1310nm, 1480nm, 1550nm and 1625nm calibration wavelengths. InGaAs photodetector. +3dBm to -75dBm measurement range. PASS/FAIL testing with audible signal. Manual or timer-driven data logging for periods from one second to one hour. Data storage for 1,000 measurements. RS232 interface for instrument configuration and data transfer to a PC-compatible workstation or serial printer. Powered by a rechargeable nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) battery pack, four alkaline batteries or AC adapter. Built-in NiMH battery charger with external power supply. Medium power to +27dBm.
